2015- can you believe it?
Whether 2014 was good, bad or indifferent...it wasn't a waste. God had purpose for 2014 even if it looked nothing like you had imagined. There were seasons for you to go through, experiences you had to have and lots of things God wanted to speak into your life.
We continued our distinguished series on Friday with Rebekah speaking about Elijah. She wanted to remind us that 2014 was not a waste, steps that seemed small or insignificant may be leading to something big and great in 2015. We took some time to seek God for the year, what he could be saying to us and what he wants to do in us and through us this year. Lastly, she encouraged us to have faith to trust what God is saying to us. "If it's too big for you, it's probably a good start! We know that we can trust him and He will do it, not us."
The worship, led by Caragh was really anointed and it was such a great way to spend the first Friday of the New Year being in his presence and praising Him for his faithfulness. Jamie, Joel, Amanda and Zara shared testimonies of what 2014 looked like for them, the highlights and lowlights and how God was with them every step of the way, teaching them as they went a long the journey.
What a privilege it is to be able to do life serving God with our friends in fourtwelve.
And remember, what is God saying to you in 2015 and are you going to have the faith to trust him?
